टेलीकॉम क्षेत्र को सरल प्रणाली अपनानी चाहिए - ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया

संचार एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी राज्य मंत्री श्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया ने कहा है कि टेलीकॉम क्षेत्र को कम नियामक और अधिक सरल भूमिका निभानी चाहिए। श्री सिंधिया आज यहां टेलीकॉम उपकरण निर्माता संघ- टीईएमए की ओर से आयोजित सरलीकरण समारोह में बोल रहे थे।

मंत्री महोदय ने कहा कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में असमानता और सूचना की विषमता को दूर करना टेलीकॉम क्षेत्र की जिम्मेदारी है। भारत में टेलीकॉम क्षेत्र का आश्चर्यजनक विकास हुआ है मगर देशभर में टेलीकॉम क्षेत्र की पैठ का स्तर ग्राहक की क्वालिटी के बढे स्तर के अनुरूप होना चाहिए। उन्होंने टेलीकॉम क्षेत्र से आग्रह किया कि दुनिया में टेलीकॉम क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए टेलीकॉम हार्डवेयर का निर्माण बढाया जाए।

मंत्री महोदय के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए टेलीकॉम विभाग के सदस्य -सेवाएं श्री जी एस ग्रोवर ने कहा कि टेलीकॉम कमीशन भाग्यवान है कि उसे युवा और गतिशील मंत्री मिला है।
